Basic Properties
Physical Properties
Appearance: At room temperature, it is a colorless to pale yellow viscous liquid or paste. The solid content of industrial products is typically 30%–40%, with no noticeable odor.
Solubility: Easily soluble in water, forming a transparent aqueous solution. Exhibits excellent hard water tolerance, maintaining good foaming and cleaning capabilities even in high-hardness water.
Surfactant Properties: Exhibits excellent foaming, emulsifying, dispersing, and detergent properties. Produces abundant, dense foam that rinses easily with minimal residue.
Stability: Stable within a pH range of 5.0–9.0; resistant to acids, alkalis, and electrolytes. Resists decomposition at high temperatures (<100°C). Prolonged heating above 120°C gradually reduces surfactant activity.
Chemical Properties
Classified as a sulfosuccinate anionic surfactant, its molecular structure incorporates hydrophilic sulfonate and carboxylate groups alongside a hydrophobic alkyl chain, combining characteristics of both nonionic and anionic surfactants.
It exhibits excellent compatibility when blended with anionic and nonionic surfactants. When combined with cationic surfactants, careful proportioning is required to prevent precipitation.
It demonstrates excellent biodegradability, being decomposed by microorganisms after use, making it environmentally friendly.

Safety Precautions
I. Health Protection
1. Skin Protection: Wear nitrile gloves to avoid contact with high-concentration undiluted solution (>50%). If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Apply moisturizer if discomfort persists.
2. Eye Protection: Wear impact-resistant goggles when mixing or diluting undiluted solution. If splashed in eyes, immediately lift eyelids and flush with copious amounts of water for 10-15 minutes. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
3. Respiratory Protection: Perform high-temperature (>80°C) operations in well-ventilated areas while wearing disposable protective masks.
4. Ingestion Protection: Wash hands after work; eating and drinking are strictly prohibited in work areas. Store product sealed in a cool, dark place, separate from food, and label as “Non-edible chemical product.” If ingested, drink large amounts of warm water to dilute; seek medical attention with product label if severe.
II. Storage and Transportation
1. Storage
- Store in a cool, ventilated, dry warehouse (5-35°C), protected from light and high temperatures. Keep in sealed plastic drums elevated 10 cm off the floor and 20 cm from walls. Use opened containers promptly.
- Do not store with strong oxidizing agents, acids, or alkalis. Keep separate from other surfactants. Provide leak response equipment.
2. Transportation
- Transport in clean, dry vehicles with plastic sheeting and tarpaulin covers. Handle with care during loading/unloading. Do not mix with strong oxidizing agents or foodstuffs. Follow non-hazardous goods transport regulations.
- Prefer early morning or evening transport during summer to avoid high temperatures.
III. Spill Emergency Response
1. Small Spills: Absorb with cloths/oil-absorbent mats. Seal contaminated materials for professional disposal. Rinse affected area with clean water.
2. Major Leakage: Establish a warning zone. Contain leakage with sand/impermeable pads and pump out spilled liquid. After cleanup, rinse the ground with clean water and discharge wastewater in compliance with standards.
IV. Environmental Safety
1. Discharge production wastewater only after biochemical treatment meets standards. Avoid large-scale discharge into water bodies.
2. Collect and recycle discarded packaging centrally. Do not dispose of it arbitrarily.
