- Catalysts: xylene isomer catalysts; polymerization catalysts for olefins.
- Solvents: solvents for nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate; solvents used to preserve the life of organic peroxide catalysts; solvents for dispersing vinyl fluoride; peroxide agents and diluents used as curing catalysts for polyester and epoxy resins.
- Stabilizers: chlorinated pesticides and stabilizers; stabilizers for phenolic resins; solid agents for sugar-alcohol resins.
- In the field of synthetic resins: curing agents for bisphenol formaldehyde resins; softeners for phenolic resins used in shell molding patterns; plasticizers for vinyl chloride; plasticizers for vinyl acetate polymers; flame retardants for polyester resins.
- Triethyl phosphate as a high-boiling solvent, a plasticizer for rubber and plastics, and also used as a raw material for producing pesticide insecticides, as an ethylating agent, and in the production of vinyl ketone.
