- Appearance & Odor: High-purity grade is white needle-like crystal or granular powder; commercial industrial grade is slight pale beige. Odorless at room temperature, gradually reddish discoloration after long-term air exposure; non-flammable, slightly hygroscopic
- Boiling Point: 204 °C at 15 mmHg; partial thermal decomposition occurs under atmospheric pressure without fixed boiling point
- Density: 1.36 g/cm³ at 25 °C (crystalline state)
- Vapor Pressure: Extremely low volatility at room temperature; negligible vapor emission under conventional storage conditions
- Solubility: Slightly soluble in cold water, freely soluble in hot water; easily soluble in ethanol, methanol, chloroform, toluene and most polar organic solvents; insoluble in non-polar solvents
- Hygroscopicity: Slightly hygroscopic; absorbs trace moisture in high-humidity environment, causing slow oxidation discoloration
