Main Applications
High-performance Polymers: Serves as the primary and critical solvent in the production of polyimide (PI) films and aramid fibers (e.g., Kevlar®, Nomex®).
Pharmaceutical Industry: A crucial reaction medium and solvent widely used in the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) like antibiotics, hormones, and vitamins.
Synthetic Fibers & Leather: Used as a solvent for spinning acrylonitrile copolymers (acrylic fibers) and in the manufacture of polyurethane synthetic leather.
Agrochemical Industry: Employed as a high-efficiency solvent for the synthesis of pesticide technical materials.
Electronics Industry: Used in high-grade insulating varnishes, coatings, and for cleaning electronic components.

· Repeated or prolonged skin contact may cause defatting, dryness, and cracking.Handling Protection:
· Must wear chemical-resistant gloves (e.g., butyl rubber), safety goggles, and face shield.
· Handle only in a fume hood or with adequate local exhaust ventilation to avoid inhalation of vapors.
· Strictly avoid skin contact. Wear impermeable protective clothing.
· Provide safety shower and eye wash equipment.
· Do not eat, drink, or smoke in the work area.Storage & Transportation:
· Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
· Keep container tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption and evaporation.
· Store separately from strong oxidizers, strong acids, and strong bases.
· Use carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum containers for storage and transport.Fire Fighting:
· Combustible liquid. Flash point 70°C (closed cup).
· Toxic, irritating fumes of nitrogen oxides (NOx) are generated when burning.
· Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry powder, or CO2 to extinguish fire.
· Firefighters must wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full protective gear.
