Solubility: Highly soluble in methanol and ethanol. Reacts violently with water.
Basicity: A very strong base, significantly more reactive than its sodium counterpart (Sodium Methoxide).
Hygroscopicity: Highly hygroscopic—readily absorbs moisture and carbon dioxide from the air, which can degrade its quality. Requires airtight storage.
