Basic Properties

Rutile crystal form: More stable and denser than anatase, with a higher refractive index (rutile ~2.71, anatase ~2.52), resulting in stronger hiding power and tinting strength, and better weather resistance (less prone to chalking).


Inorganic surface treatment (zirconium/aluminum):


Improved weather resistance: The dense oxide layer formed on the surface effectively shields against ultraviolet rays, reduces the photocatalytic activity of titanium dioxide itself, and prevents the polymer matrix from degrading, yellowing, and chalking due to photo-oxidation.


Improved dispersibility: The treatment layer reduces the van der Waals forces between TiO₂ particles, making them easier to shear apart in the plastic melt, achieving more uniform dispersion, thereby improving production efficiency and avoiding defects caused by agglomeration.


Low volatile matter and resistivity: Indicates product purity and fewer impurity ions, which is crucial for plastic applications with high electrical performance requirements, such as wires and cables.

1.Coatings Industry

Architectural Coatings: Interior and exterior wall latex paints, stone-like paints, textured coatings, etc.

Industrial Coatings: Automotive paints, marine paints, coil coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, etc.

Wood Coatings: Provides clear white and light shades.

Powder Coatings: Outdoor furniture, building materials, etc.


2.Plastics Industry

PVC Profiles/Pipes: Offers excellent whiteness and weather resistance, making them the preferred choice for plastic doors and windows.

Polyolefins (PP, PE): Used for appliance housings, toys, packaging materials, etc.

Engineering Plastics (ABS, PC, etc.): Used for electronic and electrical components requiring high whiteness and stability.


3.Ink Industry

Used in the production of high-grade white printing inks and as a toner for colored inks.

Safety Precautions


Operational Precautions:

Ventilation: Operations must be conducted under systems with local exhaust ventilation or general ventilation to prevent dust dispersion into workplace air.

Enclosure: Utilize enclosed feeding systems whenever possible (e.g., bulk bag unloading stations, vacuum feeders) to avoid dust generation from manual dumping.

Personal Protection: Operators must wear standard-compliant dust masks (e.g., N95 or higher), safety goggles, and anti-static workwear.

Anti-Static: All equipment must be grounded to eliminate static buildup and prevent static sparks.

Cleaning: Use explosion-proof vacuum cleaners to remove spilled powder. Compressed air blowing is strictly prohibited, as it may form explosive dust clouds.


Storage Precautions:

Environment: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse.

Isolation: Keep away from ignition sources, heat sources, sparks, and flammable materials.

Packaging: Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent moisture ingress and packaging damage.

Labeling: Storage areas must display clear “Caution: Dust” warning signs.
