Basic Properties

High refractive index (rutile: ~2.70): This is the fundamental reason for its excellent hiding power (opacity) and tinting strength. It efficiently scatters and reflects light, achieving perfect coverage with a small amount of pigment.

Excellent weather resistance: After surface treatment, it effectively resists the photocatalytic activity of ultraviolet rays, reducing chalking, loss of gloss, and yellowing, making it suitable for outdoor coatings.

Good dispersibility: Surface treatment helps pigment particles to be more easily wetted and dispersed in media such as resins and solvents, reducing clumping and energy consumption.

1. Coatings Industry

Architectural Coatings: Interior and exterior wall latex paints, stone-like paints, textured coatings.

Industrial Coatings: Coil coatings, automotive primers, industrial protective paints, marine paints.

Wood coatings and furniture coatings.


2. Plastics Industry

PVC Profiles and Pipes: Offers excellent weather resistance and whiteness, making them the preferred choice for outdoor plastic products.
