Basic Properties

Rutile structure: More stable and denser than anatase, with a higher refractive index and better weather resistance, making it more suitable for outdoor applications.

High refractive index: Enables it to effectively scatter and reflect light, providing excellent opacity and whiteness.

Surface treatment: Alumina coating improves its weather resistance and chemical stability; organic treatments greatly improve its wettability and dispersibility in various media (such as coatings and plastics), reduce agglomeration, and lower grinding energy consumption.

Main Applications

1. Coatings Industry

Architectural Coatings: Interior and exterior wall latex paints, providing durable whiteness and hiding power.

Industrial Coatings: Automotive coatings, coil coatings, protective coatings, etc., providing excellent gloss, gloss retention, and anti-chalking properties.

Powder Coatings: Good dispersibility and leveling properties.

2. Plastics Industry

PVC Profiles/Pipes: Provides excellent weather resistance, anti-yellowing properties, and whiteness, making it the first choice for outdoor plastic products.

Storage Requirements:

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse.

Keep away from fire and heat sources.

Store separately from strong acids, strong alkalis, and strong oxidizers.

Keep containers tightly closed to prevent moisture and packaging damage.

Spill Handling:

Collect the spill using a clean shovel into a dry, clean, covered container.

Avoid dust generation; clean residue with a damp cloth or a dedicated vacuum cleaner (explosion-proof type).
