Main Applications

  • Primary non-phthalate plasticizer for food-contact PVC film, tubing, soft granules, children soft toys.

  • Plasticizer for nitrocellulose & cellulose acetate lacquers, printing inks, foil coatings.

  • Used in medical articles, pharmaceutical packaging, tablet coating excipient.

  • Solvent & plasticizer for cosmetics, fragrance fixative.

  • Artificial leather, wallpaper, sealants; also works as defoamer and rust inhibitor.

Safety Precautions

- PPE: Safety goggles, nitrile gloves, protective clothing; respirator if misting/spraying. No eating, drinking or smoking in work area.

- Handling: Keep away from heat, open flame and strong oxidizers. Ventilate properly. Avoid discharge into water and soil.

- Storage: Cool, dry, ventilated, tightly sealed. Separate from oxidants and strong acids. Ground containers for static prevention.

- Fire: Combustible; burning releases irritating smoke. Extinguish with water spray, foam, dry powder or CO₂.

- Spill: Isolate zone, recover bulk liquid, absorb residue with sand/inert absorbent. Prevent entry into drains. Dispose per local waste rules.

- First aid: Inhalation – fresh air; Skin – remove contaminated clothes, rinse with water; Eyes – flush ≥15 min; Ingestion – rinse mouth, do not induce vomiting, seek medical help.
