As an excellent industrial solvent, it possesses powerful solvency capabilities, effectively dissolving oils, resins, rubbers, and various other organic substances. It was once widely used for metal degreasing and precision parts cleaning. However, as it is classified as carcinogenic to humans and poses significant environmental and health hazards, its use in many applications has been strictly regulated or replaced with alternatives.

    • Restrictions: Workers with liver/kidney disorders prohibited
